Itinerary
Welcome to God’s Own Country! Upon your arrival at the Cochin International Airport, you will be warmly greeted, and you will be driven to Munnar the Nature Lover’s Paradise also known as ‘Kashmir of South India’. Enroute visit Cheeyappara & Valara waterfalls and Karadipara Viewpoint. Also, you can enjoy Spice plantations, Rubber Plantations, Pineapple gardens etc. Then check-in into the hotel and rest of the day at leisure, Overnight at Munnar.
Munnar has something special for everyone. The tea gardens are a part of any Munnar itinerary. Watch various steps of tea production in the tea factories right from plucking leaves to sorting, drying and grinding them. Rajamalai Wildlife Sanctuary — Around 17 km from Munnar, the Sanctuary lodges deer, bison and elephants. You can opt for trekking in this sanctuary. Next, visit to Eravikulam National Park (open as per the directions by the forest authorities), sheltering endangered Nilgiri tahrs, which are seen only in Munnar and some isolated pockets along the Nilgiri biosphere. Mattupetty Lake, a man-made lake formed by a small hydroelectricity dam, is another popular tourist spot in Munnar. Tucked in steep slopes and thick woods, the dam draws a lot of tourists. Morning proceeds to Alleppey. By noon check in at the boat in Alleppey for a 20-hour house boating through the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way you will witness a full range of lives and activities and some mind-boggling sceneries. Evening visit at Alleppey Beach and local sightseeing. Check in the hotel and Overnight at Hotel.
